About me

More than three decades ago, I was born in the vibrant capital of Bavaria, where my early childhood was enriched with the joys of learning the recorder and guitar.
I also took violin and organ lessons, but ultimately, it was the piano that truly captured my heart.
The piano is a remarkably versatile instrument, with a dreamy, enchanting sound and an impressively vast tonal range.
In my teenage years, I discovered a deep passion for singing and joined various choirs, especially gospel choirs.
Together with two school friends, I founded the band C.a.R.O., with which I had the pleasure of performing at many wonderful gigs within just one year!
After earning my high school diploma, I attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, where I studied music education, musicology and philosophy.
During my studies, I gained my first experiences as a piano and vocal instructor at various music institutes in and around Munich, explored the inner workings of a record company through an internship, and conducted a youth brass band in the picturesque Allgäu region of Pforzen.
Alongside my studies, I earned a diploma in composition at the Academy Deutsche Pop-Akademie and founded the two bands "The Violet Duo" and "The Violet Band.“

Additionally, I worked as a secretary for the conductor of the "Junge Münchner Symphoniker," took on freelance roles at various music publishing houses and the German Music Council, and worked as an organist for the Protestant Church.

Eleven years ago, I successfully completed my university studies, earning a Master of Arts degree, and began teaching piano at the elementary school Theresia-Gerhardinger-Grundschule in Munich.

Since 2019, I have been teaching at my own music institute "Violet Music Center" in Munich, while passionately composing my own music on the side. As a solo artist under the pseudonym "Viodalya" and with my band "The Violet Band," I regularly perform at a variety of events - weddings, company celebrations, birthday parties, baptisms, and more - across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Whether young or old, black or white, big or small, rich or poor, tall or short: music unites people and touches every heart! This is precisely why, of all the arts, I cherish music the most!

“I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird.”
